… and more is to come, I wager!
Greetings comrades and sufferers-in-arms!
Yeah, as almost all of you know by now, another year of my life has past gloriously away leaving me aged, shattered and stricken. If it weren’t for your continuing support, who knows what would become of me. Alas, 33 years isn’t enough time to live among such formidable friends as you all are (hmmm, doesn’t that sound vaguely familiar? I guess I skip the part about liking and deserving… 😉 ). Let me express here and now my gratitude for your small or not so small gestures, I was moved deeply by all those making my first birthday in the Diaspora a quite acceptable experience….. (hear, hear!)
Otherwise, there isn’t much tidings to report. As you may know, my birthday was preluded by Thanksgiving which I’ve spent in the company of two very warm and kind friends living close to NYC. I had a great time exploring the city of cities a bit more, enjoyed watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and climbed on the “Top of the Rock”. More of these and other adventures soon in the picture section, though expect anything soon. It will take me quite a while to sort through all 350 photos I shot….
Meanwhile I do enjoy a little “homecoming” by indulging myself in “German” (actually it is Italian) specialities: Nutella is on sale in one of the supermarkets, so for meager $1.99 I get the full chocolate flash! Carbohydrates are bliss….
All right, I gotta go. Let me finish by letting you know how much I miss you all guys out there and wishing you a very fond good evening!
